LEE GODIE (1908-1994), Chicago's most collected artist, in whose honor this courtyard has been established, loved to draw, paint and sell outdoors. She believed in the importance of artists getting together. She encouraged other artists to believe in their talent and to keep working to develop and create. She was also a Salesperson Extraordinaire and encouraged sales as well as art. Please join us - you supply the Hershey Bar and Tea.
